RYA Safety Boat course 16/17 June
This two-day course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, or for racing or training activities. It includes rescue techniques and elements of race management and mark laying. It is strongly recommended that a member of the rescue crew should hold a first aid certificate (or should have experience of first aid).
Times 10am to 5pm both days
Full SYC Members Course fee £110 per person. (For non members please add £30 per person - Payable on first day of course).
Please bring your own buoyancy aid if you have one, clothing suitable for being outside on the water, pack lunch/money and water bottle.
Cancellation Policy:
If The club or instructor has to cancel, candidates will receive a full refund.
Candidate cancellation:
up to 24 hours prior to the course - no refund
more than 24 hours notice - full refund
