Salcombe Town Regatta 2027
The dates for the Salcombe Town Regatta Dinghy Racing 2027 are Monday 2nd August - Friday 6th August.
Online entry will be available in early 2027.
There are five days of great sailing scheduled for everyone, with four days of fleet racing to determine the overall winners of the various fleets followed by the Pursuit Races for Adults and Juniors on the final Friday.
All competitors are honorary members of Salcombe Yacht Club for the duration of the Regatta, and their families are welcome as their guests to use the Club where you will find a warm welcome extended by the bar staff with hot and cold drinks available all morning and lunch from 12pm.
The Town Regatta sailing programme emphasises the fun side of dinghy racing and there is no better example of this than the Pursuit Races on Friday. For those not familiar with the format, starting times are staggered to take account of the speed of different types of boat and the boat that is leading when the finishing canon is fired after 90 minutes is the winner. Plus, of course, there is the fancy dress competition to decide the best dressed crews of the day!
All in all, a great week of sailing with plenty of camaraderie on and off the water.
Harbour Dues for visitors at a discounted rate will be available online.
If you purchase a Mill Bay boat parking ticket whilst entering online, please collect a sticker for your boat from the SYC office. Stickers will also be available at the Welcome Reception. Stickers must be clearly visible when your boat cover is on.
