Welcome to the annual SYC Rally to the Yealm. Once again we will be berthing on the Upper Visitors' pontoon and dining at the Yealm Yacht club on Saturday evening. To book the Dining on 5th September please click here
BERTHING
The Yealm Harbour Master will try to keep the upper visitors' pontoon clear for the rally.
Larger vessels if a swinging mooring is needed please contact the Rally Master via the Yealm Rally WhatsApp Group.
Neap tides are on 6th September. Please be aware that the Upper pontoon is new and sits lower in the water than the old pontoon.
Please make sure that your boat details, including MMSI, are correct on the system (use the dropdown from your name, select 'Logbook', and your boat details will be displayed). Then book here for the nights you require a berth (Thursday/Friday/Saturday).
PLEASE NOTE: the RYHA quote their prices as the lower end of the length range (most harbours quote the upper limit). For example Aquamarine and Mulberry are both approx 9.4 meters, and so are priced as 9m boats as they are in the range 9.00 to 9.99m.
Due to the limitations of the system, there are tickets for each boat length for each night, and you will have to book your boat for each night you intend to stay. Sorry, but there doesn't seem to be a better way of doing this!
TRANSPORT to SHORE
Yealm Community Electric Transport are now running the Electric Taxi service. Their hours to the end of September are daily 10am to 4pm.
During their normal hours the ferry accepts credit card payments. If a Ferryman can be found to operate the ferry for us to and from the Rally Supper it is highly likely that we would need to pay in cash to reduce the delays from credit card payments.
For ferry use at other times contact on 07399 067492 or on channel 69. For those who don't already know, mobile reception on the Yealm is not good.
Bookings close for both berthing and dining at midnight on Thursday 27th August.
We will be settling the berthing charges after the rally, so if you cancel berthing due to weather issues, then berthing dues can be refunded.
